5 more days till the end of holiday :( After this week, I'll have to wake up at 530am everyday. Anyway, this week has been well-spent! :D I went for foot massage with mum on Mon.
This is my second foot massage in SG and it costs us 4 times of BKK price. An hour of foot massage for $34. Shakes head*
And I finally met up with Kat for dinner at Chicken Pot ytd!
I've not met her for at least half a year but I find it amazing that we would still have endless topics to talk about. And this girl surprised me by passing me a Topshop romper that I've always wanted but couldn't bear to buy it because it's freaking $106!!! Thank you so much girl!:')
Hehe sometimes I just feel so blessed to have amazing friends and family by my side. Each time my sis goes overseas, she never fails to bring back snacks/accessories/clothes/shoes/rubbish for me. HAHAHA. This time round she bought loads of chocolates, chips, biscuits, sweets, nougats for me. And.... she got me a Sydney opera house pandora charm too!! It's so pretty and special.
Before I end this post,I'll like to post a shot of myself with a bag that I recently won. Hehehe.
While typing this post, I found out I just won a dress from another blogshop!!! I'm so lucky recently.

My family thought sis is coming back from Australia ytd (mon) but we only knew she's coming back today, ytd morning -.- So I've got to wait for a couple more hours before I see my goodies from Australia. I'm a greedy sis. Sis bought 2kg of nougats home and I can predict myself munching on them everyday. This holiday has been a sleep, eat and enjoy routine for me :D Since the plan to go JB with the geog girls failed, mum said we can go tgt on thurs!! :D but right now, I'm hesitating because I'm meeting kat for dinner later, QY and adela for dinner on thurs and steamboat buffet with mum on fri. So if I were to go JB with mum on thurs for foodddddd, I think my stomach will burst from over-eating!! This is a super random post and I need to sleep now. 2:19am alrd omggg!!

While the sis is enjoying herself in Australia, I'm stuck here in the hazy Singapore >< She sent me a pic, showing off her first skydiving experience in Sydney.
Honestly, I'd never attempt skydiving because its just so scary? I can't wait to watch her skydiving video though. This experience doesn't come cheap because a 5 minute experience costs her SGD545. With this amount, I can buy 20 dresses. HAHAHA. Next week is the last week to catch up with my friends before the 5 weeks practicum starts :( Sighhhh. But I'm pretty excited for my JB trip with the Geog girls next week. Say yay to cheap food in JB!! :D

I'm getting a Nescafe Dolce Gusto tmr! Yayyyy. I can make nice coffee everyday! Anyway, I was supposed to work as a leader for Science Vacation Camp this week. But the pay is unattractive and I can't stand the thought of having to bear the strong heat when I bring the kids out for excursion. So I'm a slacker, happy slacker during this holiday! Sis is leaving for Australia tmr. I'm so jealous because I'm stuck in Singapore :(

I'm here to blog about the awesome shopping trip to BKK with Sher and Jas! We spent 280 and 140 each for the air ticket (Air Asia) and accommodation (Grand Diamond Suite) respectively. I love staying in Grand Diamond Suite because it is a 3 minute walk to Platinum mall and is ideally located near Central World, where we can find the largest Naraya outlet.
Happy us setting off to BKK! When we reached Don Muang Airport, we took a cab to the hotel which costed us 300 Baht. Surprisingly, there was no jam and the entire journey to the hotel was only 35 minutes.
As Platinum Mall closes at about 6 plus, we wasted no time and headed to shop at Platinum Mall for about 2 hours. Gosh the stuffs there are cheap, ranging from 8 plus to 16 SGD. They have jetted up the prices in recent years but for the quality, I thought the prices were very affordable. It's hard to find dresses or tops at below $20 in Singapore. After shopping at Platinum Mall, we had a quick dinner at Grand Canyon Coffee, Central World. Heee after dinner,the craziest part of shopping came. We spent about 1 hour in Naraya choosing bags and pouches. By the end of the day, these were my loots.
Rise and shine for Day 2 in BKK. The 3 of us woke up at about 7. LOL.
Love this Gich Zipper Playsuit from MGG. We decided to have A&W for breakfast, a super sinful breakfast.
After the hearty breakfast, we continued to shop at Platinum Mall, Central World etc. As our loots were too heavy, we went back to place our loots in the hotel.
Our loots for Day 2 After that, we walked to Siam Square for dinner. Entered a random restaurant for dinner and to our surprise, the food was goooood!
Walked around Siam area and our legs were super lemon by the end of the day. We decided to pamper ourselves by going for leg massage near our hotel.
60 min of leg, hand and head massage costs us only $8 plus. So cheap and shiokkkk! Hehe.
On the third day, we went for groceries shopping at Big C supermarket, which is about 10 minute walk from our hotel. I spent about 600 Baht on snacks -.- Fat die me :/
The amount of snacks we bought. Goodness. After placing these loots back in the hotel, we went shopping again! Hehe.
For lunch, we had Jap food and I had yummy Tomyum Ramen which was only $6.
After lunch, we shopped at Siam Sq and MBK centre. We were pretty lucky/unlucky to witness a strike. LOL.
We were super tired from all the shopping and I almost wanna cry from my aching shoulders and toes.
Our loots by the early afternoon. I think they were at least 10kg. Sher and I were so tired that we squatted outside the shop while Jas was buying medicated oils for her mum. We were that exhausted. After resting in a cafe, we decided to take a tuk-tuk back to our hotel.
I concluded that Tuk Tuk is my favourite transport because it's fast and so exciting! As usual, we shopped at Platinum mall before our dinner. Platinum mall is our favourite mall :D After shopping, we took a Tuk Tuk again to Terminal 21.
For dinner, we had Mookata at Bar B Q Plaza.
The food was too healthy for our liking. So friends, dont have mookata unless you love healthy food. Hahaha. Shopped around and I told them " Terminal 21 has pretty toilet." and we went to have a look at the toilet. LOL.
The taps were so special. As Terminal 21 was pretty boring, we decided to head back.
Yayyy my first time taking BTS (MRT) in BKK. We went for a foot massage again but at a different massage parlour because the one we went yesterday had only 2 vacancy left. We went to the other massage parlour beside it and Sher was so angst throughout because the person was too violent. LOL. She left the place feeling more ached than before. Hahaha.
After the massage, our nightmare began -- PACKING.
I bought so much stuff and had a tough time squeezing them into my luggage. Mehhhh time flies and it's our last day in BKK. For breakfast, I had yummy banana nutella crepe. Damn awesome.
Shopped at Platinum Mall again. I think it's the best mall in BKK because within 2 hours, I managed to grab 10 items and a pair of shoes. Each time we shop in Platinum Mall, there's definitely things for us to buy. Sighh right now, I miss shopping in Platinum Mall.At about 130pm, we made our way back to the hotel and tadah, our luggage after 4 days of shopping in BKK.
It's crazily a lot. OMGGG.
And this is the super shag me with my 3 hand carry. LOL. My luggage weighed 23.8kg and I've 3 hand carry? Well done, Siew Ling!
I wanna go BKK again, hopefully this December. BKK is awesome for shopping!!!! My blogger template sucks. Everything is messed up. I'm jealous right now because sis just came back from her backpacking trip last week and she's going to Australia from 15th-25th. Whatttt?! Such a good life.
I'm back from BKK! Right now, I'm missing BKK because the food is so yummy and cheap and its a shopping paradise. I changed about SGD1500 for this trip and was left with about 300 plus because Siam Discovery Centre does not have the Melissa shoes that I wanted :( So I bought only 2 pairs instead of 4. So disappointed but I'm still happy with my loots! I almost went crazy in Naraya because the bags and pouches there are so pretty! It's 1:25am but I'm still not asleep. I shall do a detailed post on my Bkk trip soon. Hehe on a random note, I received an email from the CELS tutor on 3 jun because I've yet to submit my final reflection to her. Ooops. Its 6 jun but its still not done :/ I shall do it tmr if I don't feel lazy. Nights!!
