Ytd went to the Appreciation Dinner at MB. Food was great! Haha. Initially, Sandy and I sort of regret going because Nat and Jo dint go and when we learnt that it was a "stand-around buffet", we were even more sian. But, good thing we went. Had Geomatics today! Finally, for the first time, it does not rain on wednesdays. Have a touch of the practical today and shall practise it again soon because next week is the test. Feel that DC has got attitude prob. It's our first prac session and he expect us to know everything. Mr Foo also came to our rescue and taught us a secret we had not known for 1 yr plus. Class ended and went to have lunch.

After that, we headed to the library to do our assignments. Then, went to the dialogue session with Dr Yaacob. Its a 1h45 min session but i think we learnt quite alot even though some parts were dry.

Appreciation dinner for SIWW at Marina Barrage tmr. Hope the food is nice!!! Finally the sch is good enough to provide transport there. It's gng to be a tiring day tmr, but i like friday because lessons start at 1!

Had Geomatics lesson today. I think we really have bad luck on Wed because almost every week, it rains and hence, pratical indoor ( setting up of instrument only). Hopes that it does not rain next week if not i dno when then can we really start on our practical. After lesson, which ends 30 minutes earlier, went to have lunch with the class. After went home, take a bath and went to have a face squeezing session agn. I look like a freak now, with so many red spots. This time round, it is waaaaaaaaay more painful than the first time. I asked her to stop but she continued, saying that she have to, if not more will come out. I cannot tolerate anymore and tell her to stop and do it next time but she still continues, saying the same old thing agn. After 10 minutes, she finally stopped and i am half dead because i used lots of energy to "bear with the pain". Put this, put that and end.

I want to do my GEMS report now. Bye people!!

Nothing much to blog about but just want to post 2 pics. They are the things that sis buy from Taiwan. They are kind of special to me. Haha, u will know why soon...

I find these 2 stuffs very cute in terms of packaging but in terms of taste, it is so-so only.

Everytime when i tell my mother where i want to go with the sch, her reply is always up to u loh. So, sometimes when the sch has overseas trip, i made the decision myself instead of my mother making the decision. Her reply is always " up to u loh." Till now, i still have no idea if she gives the green light of me gng to Vietnam for 3 weeks, which i find it freaking long. I went to Yahoo to search on Da Nang, the place we will be heading to. Mr Foo told us we will also be gng to Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. I think i talk too much because i dont even know if i can get selected. The Vietnam OITP response is overwhelming!!! Hopefully, i will be one of those lucky ones to go, because i have never been there b4. I find it quite a irony because i rmb when i was in sec 1, my dad ask us to go to Vietnam with my cousin because his wife is from Vietnam and he can bring us to tour arnd. And i rmb my silly reply " Dont want, Vietnam is so hot" and we insist that we go to HK with my mother. And now, 5 years later, i want to go with the sch.

Anyway, back to today's not-so-tiring day. Lessons at 1 is really cool because we have more energy. GEMS lessons was ok and i think the teacher's mood is good today because he did not scold anyone. The 3 of us were so scared of him that we met 15 minutes b4 the lesson so that we will not be late for his lesson. His temper is really weird, he remind me of Alex, the Home-Fix manager last time. They both have the same weird temper, which is pretty scary because one moment, they are gentle and next moment, they erupt.

GEMS ended 1 hr earlier and Jo, Sandy and I went to the lousy cafe to slack and after that, to the library. We look thru the recipe books which made us salivate. Then, we headed to Hydraulics lesson. Many "?????" was found on my face because i only understood 50% of what Ms Tracy was saying. Partly because i was touching up on our drawing.

To Nat, Sandy and Jo. I realised that the thing we do has no submission dateline because rmb it is just a letter? So, we dont have to post it to them so soon. i was thinking of getting it scan then send to them via email.

Just came back from vivo not too long ago. 16 of us caught the Harry Potter and the half blood prince. It's my first time at GV Max and i find it super big! I seldom watch movies because i think it is a waste of money and i think i regret watching it. Vivian, CS and I find it not nice but Nat and WH love it alot! Ok, maybe cos i dint read the book so i dint know what it is all about. The climax is at the very end of the movie and suddenly, it ends so means there's a part 2 to this movie.

Anyway, tmr is gng to be a super short day cos lesson only starts at 1. I can sleep later abit. Hooray! But, there's still the dreaded 3 hr hydraulics lesson with Ms Tracy. Sighhhhhhhhhhh... SIS IS COMING BACK TMR. WONDER WHAT THINGS SHE'S BUYING BACK. To think back, it's been 14 years since i last went to Taiwan. We always wanted to go there but my paranoid mother is always scared of EARTHQUAKES occurring. And, it did happen to my sis. But well, she's alright so i think it is pretty fine.

Lessons for only 2 hr today! Mr Foo had a meeting and so, the lecture was cancelled. So, only practical from 10 to 12. I like today's prac because 2 of us share one instrument, instead of the 5 to 1 last time. We learnt how to set up the total station once again because we had all forgotten totally about the setting up. Pretty fun because Sheilah and I made a couple of silly mistakes and we went to seek Anthony for help. He taught us some "tricks" that we can set up in the fastest timing. He's really fast and accurate. He only need 2 min to set up and achieve a super accurate result. After learning from him, we managed to reduce our time from 11 min with a super inaccurate result to only 5 min with a more accurate results. BUT, it is still considered as long because the exam is gng to be 10 minutes including the shooting of the points and all. DIE!

Oh ya, got a big shock ytd when we saw the news that Taiwan has earthquake. Magnitude of 6.1, scary... But, we are glad that sister is alright. Phew!

Yeah. Going to watch Harry Potter with my class tmr. 17 of us all tgt! Whee~ Hopes that Joseph Teo can released us early so that we dont have to rush there. Woohoo, sis back in 2 days time. Can't wait for her return.

Lessons for only 2 hours and then, we are off to do our Ind Noise and Air pollution practical. We so good because about 3/4 of the class stay back tgt to do this prac tgt. Everyone was cooperative and we managed to finish both assignments within a period of 3 hrs. For Air pollution, we made our own dust by sweeping the concrete and Donric, being the super smart one, pour the dust on the Dust Trak Meter, making the meter so dusty. Done with it, then we went home. Ahhhhhh. REPORTS, GO AWAY!

Yeah, anyway, Jo, Nat, Sandy and i are taking part in a "drawing competition." Hope we can win sth from this, not gng to reveal how we are gng to "draw" but i think we are damn smart sia. HAHAHA.

Nothing special about today. Morning we had soil science then follow by breaks then hydraulics practical then structures. Handojol is good today because he released us an hr earlier. Boring, because we have 6 reports on hand now. Tmr have to do our APC and ind noise.

Woohoo. Sister left for Taiwan today! Sincerely hope she can buy many many things back. That's her objective anyway. Haha. She took the biggest luggage found in my house there so that she can stuff all those things she buy inside.

Well, well, well. We sent her off to the airport reaaaaaal early. Her flight is at 10am and we reached the T1 at arnd 8am. Checked in, bla bla bla and she left with her frens. To save $300 plus, she took the China Airlines instead of SIA.

Then, dad and mom went home while i went to meet Mr Ong at Plaza Sing. Our fave place, once again... Rive Gauche Cakes. Today, we share our fave oreo cheesecake and tried a new flavour, Chocolat chocolat. Not too bad, but we still like our oreo cheesecake more. I think we look like retards because we were snatching over the last mouth of oreo cheesecake. I won! ^^

Kind of lame to meet up for only 1 hr plus but i like! We had a little chit chatting session and after that, i went home while he went back camp. Another 4 months for him and he's out! Miss ya, meet up soon again ok, My BFF!

HAIZ. Tons of reports to do.... SIAN. Air pollution, Ind Noise, Maths PBL, Soil Sci, Hydrulics. Almost all my modules have reports to do. CRAP!

Today, i went out with my best friend. Hahaha. CS u are rite! The person is Nat. We made a short trip to Far East. Nat bought her sandals at far east then we headed to Ngee Ann. Both of us are road retards of Orchard. But, we managed to find out way to Ngee Ann's Sephora, Zara, and etc! After buying our stuffs, we went home. Today's the fast time i shop for only 3 h plus.

Sis is gng to Taiwan for shopping tmr. Wish she can buy many things back and bon voyage as well.

Just came back not too long ago from school. Went for the Astronomy Club presentation. Nat, Sandy and I go because we can have 1 cca pt. I know is pathetic but 1.5hr and can get 1 pt is really not bad. HAHA. Cheapo. I wasnt listening to the presentation at all because i am not interested in how the stars are formed and bla bla bla. After that, we watched a movie which i had no idea what the title and content is because i was sleeping when the movie is played. It is just too boring for me to continue watching.

Anyway, lessons start at 8 today. I think soil sci time pass pretty fast because we were doing the practical. Then followed by GEMS. I realised the teacher is really very rude. The impression that he gives is getting from bad to worst. I shall not elaborate but i think those words he said to that girl is really too much. Seriously, if i can give him a tight of slap without having to face any consequences, i will surely walk up to the front and give him a slap. HE'S JUST SOOOOOO FREAKING RUDE! HATE IT!He did not put himself in other's shoes. What if those words were said to him? I bet he will feel both sad and angry.

After GEMS, we had the long long long 3hour hydraulics lesson. The aircon system is abit weird today because the moment we on the air con, the classroom will have blackout. Stayed in the hot room for about 20 mins and we changed to another classroom. OOOOOOPS, i think miss tracy heard us saying her lesson was "sian". We went to the toilet at the same time as Miss Tracy but she left first. We thought she had alrd reached the classroom but who knows, when we walked down the staircase while talking about "sian, bla bla bla", we met her once again. Stunned and pretend nth happen. Lesson end at 6 and had dinner with Nat, Sandy, Sathesh and Irshad.

Yeah. Gng out with my "best friend" tmr. HAHAHAHAHA. She's a fairy, tarzan, barbaric and says "oh-yee-oh-yee-oh". Make a guess who my "best friend" is.

Ahh, after listening to what CS said, i think i am one of those victim of NYSS. Shit them all. They better dont come up with any nonsense if not i will just file some report to the CASE or small case tribunal. This is totally crap.

Went for my trial treatment at New York Skin Solutions at J8 today with my cousin. My aunt and mom accompanied us. We had a hard time finding it. We went from Level 1 to 4 but just could not find it. Give up, call the person and she said it's inside BHG. -.- Appt at 1 and so, b4 that, went to have our lunch first. At 12:45, we went there and they tell us to fill up some forms about the problems we face, our diets and etc. Then, went to meet my consultant, Pearlyn, in a room and she analyse my skin problems and do some scanning for me. Eww. The skin magnified looked really gross. Then, she explained to my mum about the packages and stuff and finally, proceeded to do the facial. It was really very comfortable but PAIN when doing the extraction.

First, they put clean my face, then put a mask over and steam my face.
Next, they removed the mask and extract all those blackheads, whiteheads, pop those zits and bla bla bla. It was so pain that my eyes cant stop blinking and the beautician say i was stressing her out.
Thirdly, the put a very cooling mask on my face and let some cold air blow my face.
Fourthly, they removed the mask and put one "remove germs" mask and it is quite painful because the mask bites my skin.
Fifthly, they put one herbal mask over the "remove germs" mask and let the cold air blow me again.
Lastly, the removed all the masks and wash my face, appply toner, moisturiser and soothing cream for me.

After that, went out to find for my cousin to end and we were brought again to another room to discuss about the packages. They said my cousin and my skins conditions are very bad because our skins are sensitive. And so, the packages they recommend us was a whooping $3300 for 10 sessions. WTH rite? Both my aunt and mum said were too ex because we are still students and is too exp for student price. Then they said the best price they can give us was $2700 but is still very exp because only 10 sessions and it means 1 session for $270. Finally, they gave in because my 2 cousins and i signing up tgt. So, they reduced to $1900 for 10 sessions and it includes 1 free treatment and 3 complimentary vouchers. We also buy their set of facial products which consists of 1 brightening cleasner, milk cleanser, soothing cream, toner lightening day cream. Now, i have to really take good care of my skin because my mother really spend a bomb on it. I hope i can see some effects by the end of 6 or 7 sessions. After that, we book the next appt (21st july) and headed home. I will take less fried food, eat more veges and fruits and drink more water now.

OK,been more than a week since i last blogged. Nothing's so interesting when school starts because our lives will just be filled with assignments and projects. AHHH. Now, i have my Maths PBL(10%), Air Pollution Assignment (20%), GEMS report( 70%) and i am sure more are on their way to come!!!

We just cleared our Ind Noise reports (20%), Water Expo report (5%), Soil Science reports(20%??) during the holidays. Holidays started less than a week and i am feeling stressed again. I will come online less often now except for project research. I shall work hard for this sem. 7 weeks left.

Still thinking of the Vietnam OITP. Should i go???? Seems like there is an overwhelming response and so, it reduces the chance of myself being selected by 99.99%. Even if i get selected, i wonder if i will be able to survive well there. I am always scared of being alone especially in places i never go to before,what's more an ulu place.
