12 more days till the start of school but I've got 4 days of camp so this means 8 days of holidays left! This is damn sad! So i was looking at the math notes for next sem and the first chapter is enough to kill me but Nat's notes came to good use because it was more detailed. I shall make full use of my remaining 8 days of holidays to do some proper revision(Y) Siew Ling is a mugger!! ^^ shocks*** A new blog is created so gohdrinksbubbletea will only be used to post mainly happy stuff here because i wanna look back at here and smile. I can't bear to close this site because it held too much memories for my past 4 years, good and bad :)

I decided to make strawberry jello hearts today!
The first time i had this was in Poly year 2. I rmb Nat bought one small piece for 90 cents from Pasir Ris, which i thought was really expensive. The one i baked don't look fantastic at all but it tastes pretty similar to the one that Nat bought. This time round, it's quite screwed up because the strawberries submerged too much, i accidentally dropped a strawberry inside the cheese and my shaky hands shook too much till the strawberries became haywire. Gahhhhhh. I wanna make Tiramisu soon, hopefully before the school starts. Yawns* I'm so tired, shall sleep soon. Nights world!

It's stay-home day today! I just had kfc because i wanna use up the 25% staff coupon given by ah siao. I love cheese fries. I had been eating really alot these few days but phewwwww, i didn't gain any weight. I just can't stop eating when I am at home or feeling bored. Anyway, I love this quote " A friend is like a rainbow. They brighten your life when you've been through a storm!" In life, I get by with a little help from my friends in my down times and I too, hope that I can help them get by their down times with my little help. Few weeks back, i sought help from my dear friend and we share the same feelings; excitement, happiness and anger. I feel happy when i have a friend to help me when i was confused and helpless. When she was in her down times, I am touched that at the end of the day, she told me I had made her day. It's funny how we can turn an enemy into a motivation in life:) What doesn't kills you makes you stronger. Maggiemee and shakerfly have turned us into happier and definitely stronger persons ^^

I love icecream! The pistachio nuts and dark chocolate truffle is super yummy! At night, Dad came home with Strawberry cheesecake icecream. ILOVEIT! My sis doesn't like strawberry so i finished the whole tub on my own. Super sinful but heck! HAHA.
I have been watching my HK drama everyday. Need to cherish these 2 remaining 2 weeks of holidays. Oh I finally touched the Math notes from Nat and I find learning Romanian, Egyptian and all the different numbers pretty irritating but interesting at the same time. Shall continue with abit more practice tmr morning :) I need to read up on the grammar toooooo. Idk what to blog already so bye bye!

I bought 2 more dresses and have them sent to bao's house. I think my mum go will mad if she find out that i buy dresses again. OOOPS. I've bought 7 dresses in just a month and this is really bad! I promise myself to stop buying!
肥肥 is so clean now! I gave it a nice bath ytd and it smells of LifeBuoy now. Lol. I suddenly feel like piercing ear holes because they have closed. Sighh. I wanna put on pretty ear-rings!

I went back to SP last night with a few friends for DEWT Night. It's been more than a year since we last met the lecturers. I miss SP so much; the friends, the lecturers, the fun, the laughter, the food, the list continues. We stayed through the entire event.

After the whole event, we were making our way to the station. Suddenly, we had this random idea to catch a movie tgt. Tadah, we did! We caught a super old movie, The Dictator at Vivo at 1240am. We got lots of time to spare so we ate at Mac and then headed to the Sky Park for a chit chat session. It's the first time I watch movie at such a late timing and I almost dozed off in the cinema. LOL. Hehe. Anyway, I love how my parents trust me because i told them I will be reaching home late as I will be catching a movie with my friends. The only thing they asked was "Do you have keys?" and they hung up. Yipee!! So, I went to have steamboat with mum today!
I think our parents are so great! Satisfying our needs, wants and even cravings! I love them so muchie!

This was the dinner with QY and Adela ytd at Chicken Pot. It costs $30 after GST and sc. I always see long queue but I won't eat it again because it's ex, super salty and they spam lots of MSG. In conclusion, nothing fantastic.
Oh i forgot to mention how blur the bao, lqx, is during the course registration. She had to help a friend to register the modules but she was unable to retrieve the new password. She was blur because she used her hp for the sms password reset and i told her "The password will be sent to Rach's hp because only her number is registered under her profile." So she worried thrice for nothing. It's really kinda funny at that point of time. Oh no... Less than a month to the start of sch :( I've not slacked enough.
My mummy love is so awesome because i told her I have the craving for steamboat and the next moment she said " Ok, let's go have it on sat! Ok I just registered for my modules for next sem and since I am so free, I shall practise some Math questions later. I've yet to touch it and it's been rotting on my table for months. Siew Ling, time to do some revision. Siew Gek and the girls are clubbing later, but I decided not to join them even though it's ladies' night. I've drunk alot last week and I'm afraid mum will be angry. So i shall be a good girl and stay at home ^^

Nom nom nom. Munching on chips now. I managed to abstain from junk food for the past 1week but I can't tahan already so heck! Hehe. Eat more, means gain more weight. Oh dear but I wanna shed 4kg more and I will stop. I am meeting QY and Adela for dinner later. Enjoying my drama now and sometimes, i love the feeling of staying at home, doing nothing and just nua. Now that we no longer interfere with each other's life, I feel happier and better :)
I've been blogging so often these few days. I was clearing and tidying some documents in my lappie just now. I read through some of the essays/work that I've done for the past one year. The amount of time spent, the number of books borrowed and the number of hours spent editing each essay. People always say I am smart but the fact is I am really not but I dare to say I am definitely more hardworking than most people. I always make sure I put in 101% effort in my work because I really wanna do well. I have a sister who is smart but I wanna make my parents happy and be proud of me too. Attaining a second upper for my first year is definitely not easy and I wanna strive and do better for the remaining 3 years. I've screwed up part of my life but I tell myself " Tomorrow will be a better day and do things that please myself and my family because they are my everything." :') My dad is really proud that I am going to be a teacher in 3 years' time and he's happy that Sis is going to Tsing Hua University, the university that all Chinese dream to go, in September.

I am so happy because my exams for next sem will end on 22 Nov. I can start planning for my holidays soon. My mum just told me that we will be going to China in Dec to visit my 105 years old greatgrandmother. My grandaunt kept asking us to go back because greatgrandmother is really old and she misses us alot! So yea, china trip is confirmed :) I may be going to Aussie with QX, Dor and Perd. We are hoping that FlyScoot or Qantas will have promos soon. I wanna go Korea with QY for a white christmas too but going to 3 countries in a holiday is a little too much right? I shall discuss with these besties and see how it goes. Hehe. It's super addictive to shop online. There's many new launches recently in blogshops and I bought 2 more dresses. I showed my mum the dresses and it's the first time she didn't nag at me. I have the fetish for dresses recently and I can't take my eyes off those pretty dresses ^^
Sunday was well spent with my family. We had a super filling lunch at TPY. I love the bonding time with my family :) Sleepy, happy, irritated and busybodies basically sum up my day. The purpose of this blog is for me to share my happy/sad/angry/enjoyable/memorable moments. It doesn't serve as a platform for busybodies to interrogate and interfere with my life. C'mon friends, learn to live in the future and not the past!

I really have great friends around me. Adela asked me to give tuition to her sis but my standard for english is really cmi. Asked around a few friends and finally found the super-zai-in-english Perd to help. I really appreciate him as he's helping because Adela is my friend and he's not asking for high rates. Bitchy Bananas attended Wen Siu's birthday party in Hometeam Chalet @ Pasir Ris. We had a good time catching up with everyone. I guess the next time we see each other will be during the FOC? I love her birthday cake, cheesecake brownie, baked by her relatives who opened a bakery in Sin Ming Road. Damn nice! Sigh.... I was about to let go because i don't wanna fall deeper and deeper so can you please stay outta my mind and stop interfering with my happy life? You're just another screwed up bastard.

It was a crazy night last night! I went Timbre@Substation with Siew Gek, Jessie, Norton and Jeremy. Jeremy was such a gentleman la because he made 3 girls wait for him for 2.5 hours! We were supposed to have dinner at 6:30pm but ended up, we had dinner at 9pm plus? Tskkkkk.
Still got the cheek to tell us to smile. Pfffft!
We had a good time at Timbre. The band was good and Siew Gek was invited to the stage with other people whose birthdays also fall on 13 July! After eating, we went to chill outside the club with Brian and Daren. Those guys were crazy because they ordered so much drinks!

Jessie and Jeremy were damn bad! I took one shot, but it was too gross for me to swallow so i got everything in my mouth poured back into the cup again. The both of them got him to drink that and he really drank it la. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. The guys ordered Flaming Lamborghini (40% alcohol) for Siew Gek. After that, she was wasted. Its the 2nd time in her life but i guess it's pretty memorable since its her 21st. Pfffft. I got so much of emotions lately. From happy,excited & confusion to anger and pissed off ttm. lqx and I conclude that maggiemee is a bastard! The both of us were so wrong. Thanks girl for assuring and helping me all these while and now cursing that bastard tgt with me! So it has all ended but i don't feel upset, just angry, angrier and angriest. Pffffffffft

2nd day at Maris Stella. I dont like the atmosphere here as much as SJIJ. The school is very new, I've got nice staff room but I don't feel as happy here because somehow, I feel that trainees are ignored. Till now,I do not know who my CT is. Fortunately, it's only a 1 week school experience and i will be back in SJIJ next year! So i guess that's a good news? HAHAHA. I want Friday to come faster. I will be going clubbing with my NIE friends. Wheeeee~

I went to Siew Gek's 21st Birthday party with the geog peeps ytd! The theme was retro disco but apparently, only the bday girl was dressed to the theme. Oh i finally wore the teal dress which i bought 6 months back. The dress was to serve as a motivation for myself to lose weight. And yes! I lost some weight and i think i look less bulky in the dress. LOL. I got another 3.5kg to shed. Boo!

Boooooo. Today marks the end of my practicum in pri school. I miss my CTs and their students. Frankly speaking, i felt tears welling up in my eyes when the students greeted " Goodbye Miss Goh. May God bless you and have a nice day!" for the last time and as i bade goodbye to Miss Soh, Mrs Ho and other teachers :( Throughout these 4 days, I always feel welcomed by my CTs which makes me look forward to going to school every morning. It's really a privilege for me to observe the classroom situation in gifted P5 and P6 classes. The SCM was also helpful as she arranged extra classes for me to observe. Today, i observed how the SCM conducts lessons for the weakest P5 class and also assisted a teacher in the P2 class. I found out that many teachers in SJIJ were once from the Dip-ed course. Miss Soh was once from Dip-ed and I admire how she manages her class. She is able to practise good classroom management and also think of creative ways to make the lessons interesting for her students. However, i pity Mrs Ho because even though she also takes a gifted class, their behaviour really have much room for improvement as they are really noisy most of the time. I still have alot to learn from them. I am sad that it's my last day in SJIJ. It has left me with lots of bitter-sweet memories. The classroom management, teaching skills, the not-so-good encounter with the P, the omg-you-are-not-a-relief-teacher encounter with the VP, the "thank yous" from the students and the feeling of being welcomed by the CTs and staff. It feel so good to be able to realise my ambition "When i grow up, I want to be a teacher." Thank you SJIJ and i will be back again next year!

Day 3 of practicum ended. I gotta say i really love the envt in SJI. The teachers there are helpful, love to joke and they really made teaching students seem such an easy task. The atmosphere in the staff room is always so lively as the teachers joke and complain about their students. But something super epic happened. When i was in the staff room ytd, I saw a young lady looking at the school layout pasted on the notice board. I smiled at her and made my way to the toilet, thinking that she was a relief teacher, trying to find her way around the school. When i came out of the toilet, she was at the queue. I smiled at her again and walked off. Today, Jasmine and I wanted to meet the principal to pass her our CV. However, she was on MC and we decided to make our courtesy call to the vice principal instead. We knocked on the door, and i was taken aback when i realised the young lady whom i saw, was actually the vice principal! Imagine my shock?! She looks totally different from the photo posted on SJI website. All along, i was expecting a 30 plus year old long hair woman to be the VP. Jasmine and I apologised to her for meeting her only on the 3rd day and had a short chat with her She's a really nice lady and reminded us about the lesson we learnt ytd. So tomorrow will mark the last day of practicum in the primary school and up next will be Maris Stella High!

Day 2 of practicum. So far so good. It's CCA day in SJI and so it means jeans day for teachers. I followed Miss Soh throughout her CCA, AVA club. I am a noob in IT stuff and couldn't help much. Oh and Jasmine and I finally met the principal during the contact time today. However, she was quite unhappy with us because we did not make a courtesy call to her ytd. Ooops. We didn't make a courtesy call because we were told by the SCM that she will arrange a time for us to meet the principal. Got "scolded" for waiting for the cue from the SCM and not being proactive enough. She talked to us for quite a while :X Oooooooops Shall take this as a valuable lesson learnt for both of us. WE MUST BE PROACTIVE!! The first thing i will do next mon is to make a couresy call to the principal and vice-principal first. It's my third day and there will be "protected time" for me. No idea what it is though.

My first day at SJI was great!! I was very nervous last night because i do not know what to expect in the school. Thank goodness, my cooperating teachers (CTs), Ms Soh and Mrs Ho are very friendly and helpful. As i am attached to the gifted class, i have the chance to observe how my CTs conduct lessons for the students.There were 2 funny incidents in the class today. During the math lesson, Mrs Ho was going through one of the math question. The question is " Belinda and 23 of her classmates drink 750ml of milk on average everyday." Before the teacher could continue, one of the boys asked " Mrs Ho, they drink so much milk everyday. Won't they get stomachache?". Funny incident 2: Mrs Ho reminded the students that they had supplementary lesson and one of the boys said, " Mrs Ho, my parents say i don't have to attend supplementary lesson." Mrs Ho said " Ok then i will need your parent's letter." and the boy immediately drafted a letter on the spot. He said " Dear Mrs Ho, my son does not have to attend the supplementary lesson. Sorry for any inconvenience caused." Mrs Ho looked at me and we laughed. Ain't they cute?? And Miss Soh was so kind to introduce me to the kids by saying " Class, we are privileged to have Miss Goh here with us. Can you all greet Miss Goh now? " Heeee. I am so happy today because i met awesome CTs and a great bunch of kids. My day ended well with a " Goodbye Miss Goh. May God bless you and have a nice day!" It's really good to meet wonderful CTs. Thank you Miss Soh and Mrs Ho for making me feel so welcomed. I'm really grateful! Goodnight people. P/S:I hate blogger for disallowing me to do paragraph-ing. Ughhhh.

Sunday is a happy day! We went to Nex, watched the kids play at the outdoor playground and visited the pet shop which gives me lots of goosebumps. I just hate pets with furs! Had yummy strawberry strudel and fried chicken for dinner. Super sinful. I need to stop eating! 1245am and time to turn in!
