Yeah! I finally managed to borrow a book on sign languages. A book that I had been wanting to borrow for so long. I had always been wanting to borrow books on sign languages but it is always so hard to find. I shall start to master my sign language now so that I can communicate with those who have hearing impaired or cant talk when I have the chance to meet them next time. Perhaps, my class-baker (Shafiq) should bake cookies to earn some money and donate the money to the hearing-impaired society or old folks home. We shall plan a meaningful event together after our exams.

After lessons today which end at 5:30, Nat and I went to the National Library at Bugis hoping to find some books on Structures. We were so happy when the computer system shows that it has “Structural Analysis by R.C.Hibbeler”. However, we cant find this book and so we gave up and went to borrow storybooks. Been so long since I last borrowed a book and the moment I saw the sign language book, I was so happy and borrowed it. I had only learnt " Hello, what is your name? My name is Goh Siew Ling." I still got a long long way to go ~

Gosh, exams coming soon. Simply hate it.

I did not meet Botak in the end and so ended up, I spent my time studying today. I went to the Sheng Shiong near my house with my mother to get some grocery in the afternoon. We walked past a canal on our way there, and we saw many dead fishes. They gave out an unbearable stench which left many having to cover their nose as they walked past there. I supposed someone went to poison the water stream, killing all those fishes. I wonder who is that irresponsible person. .

Just now, I viewed a video on “ KFC cruelty” introduced by Natalie who does not take KFC chicken. And now, I finally understand why. I supposed I wont take those chicken from KFC ever again. The people are simply so cruel to those chickens ( cramping them, CUTTING off their beaks, slaughtering them and abusing the chickens like they were some sadists. ) I viewed the video for only 2minutes plus because it was too disgusting for me to continue. I changed to another one which is only 4 minutes plus and after watching, I shall tell myself “ No more KFC chickens too.” I recommend the video to a lazy pig as I was talking to him. To my surprise, he told me he was watching the video and eating his meal at the same time. OMG. If it was me, I suppose I wont even have any appetite to finish my meal. He actually managed to finish his meal in the end. It leaves me to wonder if he is a little sicko too.

I've got a new name, i'm called Jones now!!!

And so, today's dinner is at BJ. Hairy bobo and i both ate something we had been craving for so long--- Fish and Chips. On our way there, we were listening to 98.7 because Dawn was invited to talk about the lawsuit against xia xue. When the fish and chips is served to us, the feeling of eating the fries first is just so shiok. However, we got real sick after some time and eating it became a chore. So, too much is always not good. hehe

I am too lazy to upload those pics as it is so late alrd and also because i would like to protect the identity of hairy bobo.

It is 12:10 now and i am finally finally finally done with the Structures Integrated Assessment. I took an unimaginable 3 hours to complete it, leaving me with no other time to complete other homework. Shit the STUPID structures! I can't imagine there is still the Structures 2.

Haha, i guess everyone is rushing this assessment at the very last minute because it just sucks and sucks and sucks. Bye, i will blog tomorrow and there will be some pictures as i will kope from mao mei's blog.

I believe many people have their own ambition since young. The most common that i had hear of are" I want to be a doctor when i grow up" and "I want to be a teacher when i grow up." And of course, i had my ambition too, in fact more than because it just keep changing.

Primary 3 --- The english teacher gave us a piece of paper and wanted us to draw what we want to be when we grow up. Guess what i drew? I drew a nurse and named her Siew Ling. Shocked? I wanted to grow up to be a nurse when i was just Primary 3. But many of my family members were against this idea because they think that nurses don't earn alot of money and the job can be quite tough.

And so, this passion of me wanting to be nurse continues to stay on till i was Primary 6.

Primary 6 --- What do i want to be then? I wanted to be a Chinese Teacher. I was happy that i was given the opportunity to take higher Chinese when i was in Primary 5. From that time on, I always hoped that i could be a chinese teacher. Now, this ambition of mine was supported by everyone. My uncle and aunty, who are both chinese teachers, even taught me on what will be the easiest route for me to realise my dream. And then, my ambition changes again.

Secondary 2 --- I wanted to be a lawyer! I was watching the Hong Kong serial drama about lawyers and i begin to think of what great i would be if i were to be a lawyer also. And so, at only 14, i began to surf the internet on which university i would want to go if i want to pursue a Law degree.

Secondary 3--- Guess what? My ambition of wanting to become a nurse comes back again. My father's eldest brother got admitted to the hospital regularly because his cancer relapsed. The nurses there were very caring towards him. Looking at all the patients in the ward, who only have a few months left to live, really made me feel sorry for them. It was from then on, I decided to be a nurse again. I just got very interested about all the nursing stuffs and would be the first few to sign up whenever there is an open house for the nursing school in NP. I still remembered learning how to perform the CPR for babies and how to use a stethescope to check if a patient is suffering from diarrhoea. I even remembered when i was in Sec 4, I attended Adam Khoo's workshop and when we told to draw " My Dreams " on a piece of paper, i drew a nurse(me), businessman( husband), two children living in a big house. I even wrote there" I wanted to be the most outstanding nurse where i can save the lives of many patients. " I wanted to work in the ward where i can give my untmost attention to those terminally ill patients.

Beginning of 2008 --- I wanted to be a businesswoman now. When i was working in home-fix, it gives me the idea of starting up my own business so i can be rich. Therefore, when i was putting down the choices for the courses i would like to take, I put business studies as my first choice.

But now, all these ambition of mine could no longer be realised. I am now in DEWT, where i will be working in the field related to water and the environment. Well, not too bad a choice too since i will be in a better position to get my job. Who knows i might want to change to another course when i had the opportunity to get into a University.

Today marks the last day of the Practical chemistry and so our class decided to take a class photo together. Perhaps the 2nd class photo together? I am going to post them up as memories =).

Anyway, my class actually intended to go watch “ The Dark Knight” together. However, I did not go because I had already promised mao mei to go buy present for Alex. Of course, I cant leave her alone and so I told my friends to go ahead with the movie without me. We were at Jurong point looking for things that he might like. We wanted to buy a shirt for him at first but we only have $30 with us and is not enough for that. In the end, we settled for a belt, leaving us with only 10-cents. So pathetic!

I was doing the Structures assignment when suddenly someone talks to me. I don’t know why, but the topic suddenly links to “WHO I LIKE” ? I was reluctant to provide further details but I was being forced to by him since he revealed about 10% of his information.

We both have the same sentiments on r/s , that is, WAIT. I guess both of us just don’t have the courage to say out to the person “ I love you”. Well, I believe not many will because we are just afraid that end up, the opposite party does not like us. So, the only thing we can do is to wait, wait and wait. Foolish? I think it is but that’s what exactly I do! I always like guys to take initiatives first and if he just keeps everything to himself and dare not approach me, then too bad.

And as he wanted to know the further details, it somehow reminded me of some unhappy moments. Every time there is “r/s” this word, I somehow just get reminded of the past, a hurtful past which I did not want to get reminded of. But, my brain just cant control itself but think of it. I suppose everyone do have a hiccup in their loveship, but not everyone can take it. I am the life example. It takes me months to forget it though 70% still remained in my mind up till now.

Sorry to the someone if I did made u get irritated for not wanting to provide more details. And, I beg you to stop being such a blockhead and go create that chance now! Don’t give excuses like “she is busy!” And I want to tell u sth” you clue sucks!” And I am so stupid to give u answers unknowingly!!! Arh…

I was doing the quiz that Sandy tagged me to do just now but I can’t think of anyone that can do. I will do it when my brain cells are more active.

And so, today is the NUS project C.A.N. 08. Got up real early at 6 so that I wont be late. I was punctual today! Hahaha .Earlier than someone who said that I will be late.=)We set off to Southview Primary at 8 plus and after briefings, speeches, arrival and MP, we finally start doing our work.(Collecting tin cans and dried foods). Oh ya, and I saw Ellis there too. So shocked to be able to meet her there.

I was in the same group as people whom I know ( uncle, irshad and bear bro who left after 2 hrs). At 12, only left with the 3 of us but I think we really did a good job although we got rejected by those residents there once in a while.

I can see that most of the people in Singapore are really very generous. Without hesitation, they just donate whatever they can find in their cabinets. The most expensive stuffs that people donate are Chicken Essence, Scallops’ can and abalone soup.

However, I met many creatures ( **** and _ _ _ _ )which I feared of since I was young. The _ _ _ _ still was not that bad because I only met one which was when everything was about to end. It stayed at the 2nd floor and did not want to move at all and so I climbed to the 3rd floor to take the lift to the 1st floor. I know it’s lame but I will do whatever it takes for me to avoid it. The **** was the worst because many household have them.

Everything ended well at 4 plus and I headed with the 2 of them to CCK to meet Sock. There’s nothing that we can do over there and so we decided to catch a movie at MS because both Sock and I got a free ticket (I got mine from Irshad). Irshad left and the 3 of us went to MS. However, most of the timings were already fully booked and so Sock suggested we go “blow blow wind” at the bridge somewhere near the Fullerton Hotel. A scenic view there with all the LITTLE fireworks, the feeling is just so great! Talked for sometime and it suddenly rained! The rain just spoilt the day. Left with no more plans, we headed home.

Afterall, I felt that the C.A.N. project is very meaningful because the food that we had collected will be distributed to 8 charity organizations for the elderly. At the same time, I felt very tired after climbing at least 1000 plus of steps. Been so long since I ever climbed so many flight of stairs. Applause to everyone who sacrificed their Saturday for this meaningful event!

It is already 11:25 and i am still doing the CAD drawing. Redrew for the 3rd time alrd? I finally gt the space measurement right. Oh my, i am still like halfway done with the drawing only and there is still so many details to be drawn. Arh!!!! I shall work my way there now.

Oh ya, i finally tried the bubbletea at the newly open shop. The red tea there is nice and sweet. The info given by someone is so wrong because it is not bitter at all. Lalalala, i cant blame an uncle for this. And so, u r forgiven.

I saw a book lying around on my sister’s study table and decided to read it because I was attracted to the title of the book “ The book of general ignorance.” I was amazed of the answers that were listed out in the book.

I will list out all some of the things which many think they know, but they are all the wrong answers. See how many u tink u can get correct at the end.

1) Where is the highest mountain?
If you think it is Mount Everest, then -10 marks. The correct answer is Olympus Mons in Latin ( the highest mountain in the solar system and the in the known universe. It is 22km high and 624km across, 3 times bigger the height of Mount Everest.

Sahara Desert? WRONG! -10 marks.It is the Antartica. The average rainfall of it is only 2% of what Sahara received( 25 mm). Amazing huh? 2 questions alrd? More wrong answers are awaiting you. Haha..

I bet you don’t know this answer. I shall mention first. Another 10 marks deducted for the wrong answer. The answer is female mosquitoes. 5) What man-made artefacts can be seen from the moon?
Don’t be too happy if you think you know the answer because I can tell u, u r wrong! I guess your answer is Great Wall of China? Haha, too bad .. -10 marks again. No human artefacts at all can be seen from the moon at all. The idea that the Great wall of China can be seen from the moon is all-persuasive, but it confuses “the moon” with the space. Space is quite close , only about 100 km form the Earth’s surface. Many artificial objects can be seen from there. However, the moon is 400,000 km away and even the continents can barely be seen. I guess all had -50 marks already right? Hehehe..

Such a lame school day today. I went to school just for 2 hours to attend chemistry lecture and then can go home already. Haha, but I did not cos I went to Plaza Sing, The super big John little, Heeren, OG Orchard Point, Ngee Ann City and Far East with ,y evil friend, Natalie and my kind friend, Sandy. Haha. But I bought nothing in the end because I had only had $30 + plus with me and I had something in my mind I wanted to buy but did not buy in the end. I saw a hoodie I like a lot in PS and so I might get it tomorrow since it is also a shopping day. I am getting so tired now because I used up a lot of my brain juices while doing the Chemistry. I can’t afford to waste anymore time and should start my study soon.

Feel so recharged after a good sleep yesterday! i slept from 12:30 to 10 this morning. Yesterday night, i was talking to someone who commented that i always made low quality post. Therefore, on seeing his super lousy post about the T3 activity, i decided to tell him " Wow, ur post is so lousy." And therefore, we began to talk about how low-quality our posts are. And he dared to say that my T3 post is only ABIT better than his. Like NO? mine has got so many pictures but his? NONE. That's not the point but haha, can someone imagine? I fell asleep while talking to someone. I was feeling extemely tired because i woke up very early in the morning. And so, i just closed my eyes for a little while but who knows, i really sleep for almost an hour on the table.

Now, i am feeling so energetic because the battery is 100% charged. But, i am very sad because i gt a red, itchy swollen patch on the area just above my right ankle. Hopefully, it will heal fast. Tomorrow is the CRS presentation. Wish me luck!!!

Came back from T3 about an hour ago. I woke up rather early today to meet mao mei, bear bro, lily and yie ny at CCK mrt. Mao mei, yie ny and I reached earlier and so we went to shop for a little while first at Lot 1 before meeting the bear bro and lily. They reached, took LRT to Petir, walked to hawker centre to eat and then to meet those kids.

What should I say about the kids? Most were well behaved, but there were a few that drive me to craze. My group consists of 5 children aged form 6 to 9. Mao mei took care of this group and the 2 siblings in my group simply made me mad. They just did not want to listen to me at all. Poking each other, chasing each other, kicking each other, talking to each other NON-STOP. I tried to tell them to keep quiet and listen to the “tour-guide”, Nicholas. However, they simply did not even want to listen to me at all and do the opposite of what I say. I tell the boy “ Walk faster and close up the gap” and so he walked even slower than before and so I just let him be. I say “ Stand up and don’t keep playing with ur sister and so he continue to squat and play around with his sister. And they keep on saying” So boring one. No fun at all. “ Argh! Really feel like scolding them and beat them. But I decided not to and let them so whatever they want. OMG, kids nowadays are so horrible.

Finally, nightmare ended at 4 plus and so it is off to bonding session with mao mei, dilyse xin ying, monster bro, Kenny and Nicholas. Nicholas brought us to this super cheap eatery where the food there are all mostly $3 and nice too . I did not expect to find such cheap food in airport. Normally, when I go to the airport, my family will eat at the Food Court there before the flight. The cheapest will be like $4 plus and it tastes horrible. Then of course, talking and laughing and suaning( of course our target is only mao mei.) So funny la, everyone just joined in to suan her. And so, we talked until 7 plus and I took train with mao mei home while she go to Tiong Bahru to eat AGAIN. OMG, big eater.

The bubble tea shop at the mrt stn cheated my feelings. It wrote there" opened on 11 july", made me so happy. Then i wanted to buy today, it was closed. It made me and nat so sad. hopefully, it opens by next week.

I m so bored now. I dont feel like doing anything but i cant bring myself to continue to slack and so the "bored to death" me went to do the assignments online for the chemistry. It's so hard so i gave up half way.

Then i went to pack my super duper messy study desk and chanced upon some coloured papers i had bought long long ago and decided to make a card for my sad mao mei. I hope it can cheer her up somehow but i think my talent for art is realli going down down the hill. Hopefully, the card does not scare her off because i think it looks just too horrible. Haha. a short post will do cos i m too lazy to type anymore. I got to get up super early tmr to go to bukit panjang. As usual, the forever hungry mao mei wld like to have her breakfast first and so i shall acc her to cck first to have our breakfast.

I was bored and so went to read people’s blog. I was reading mao mei’s blog for 30 minutes. Haha, all her 4 months post. The posts are all SO long. I was laughing non-stop when she mentioned me in her post.

Haha, so funny, still remembered throwing sand at her many times. But it was extremely fun! It was also the sand-throwing session that changes my perception on her and made me love her more and more. If no sand-throwing session, I may not have known her so much and we would not have been so close. Mao mei, u should thank me for this. Hahaha. Shall tell u the truth on my impression on u the first time I saw u, well don’t be angry ok? I love u now so ignore the past. But if u do want to know, I can tell u.

I got many pictures to upload today. Pictures on Sock’s cookies and love note from her (hehe), Chemistry Practical and AGAIN those pictures we took when we are bored in the library.

Today, sock withdrew from our course already, So sad… =( I will miss her badly one. She is the only person from 1A01 whom I talked to and is close with. Now that she is no longer studying, I will have no friend from 1A01 already. Aww, 1 good friend gone. =( I WILL MISS YOU VERY BADLY. Yesterday, I remembered that today she will be withdrawing from the course and so I made her a card. A card which looks horrible but I don’t’ care because I just mind about what I want to day to her.

In the morning, met her at the MRT station and so on went to the classroom together. On the way there, she gave me cookies. Nice cookies which the greedy me finished eating within seconds. Shafiq and her and can make good cookies. Haha. After that, some unhappy things happen and I shall not elaborate. But it is peace now. Haha!

Ok, then chem which is also known as photo-taking session. Took pics of the nice solutions. After that, it was to the library to do our CRS ppt. Pictures were taken there as well. Then, home sweet home. =)

Nothing nice happen today except that I get to meet Sandy, Zhi Jen and Sheilah coincidentally in the library. Such a coincidence, right? I left the library at 3 plus and was entering the lift to get down to the lift when suddenly Sandy and Zhi Jen came in together I was shocked! So , I stayed with them till 3:30 and went home. Doing nonsensical stuffs from 6 plus till now and I should start studying now. Bye!

Was in a happy mood yesterday so did not feel like talking about sad stuffs. I just hate hypocrites like u. U pretended to be my friend but ended up hating me so much. U r one of those few friends whom I get to know in SP and so I cherish u as my friend. But now since u hate me so much, u can choose not to talk to me the next time when u see me. I guess since u don’t like me, I don’t have that much of things to talk to u either.

I just don’t find a reason as to why u have to be jealous when ___ and I can get along well. U always said we ignored u but fact is, we did not. U just sit there and listen to us talk and u can join in the conversation also right? However, u choose not to and ended up hating us. ____ and I are in the same class and we always hang around together. U cant expect me and her not to talk when u are with us right. Dislike me for u all u want and continue to rant all ur childish thoughts into the diary of yours. I am just so disappointed in u but rest assure, I will change for the better, hoping that one day, u will accept me as ur friend again.

I am so happy today!! I love playing (note: not helping out because I played more than I helped ) at Tampines East CC today!!! So fun!!! Had fun with Yie Ny , Sock and Nat. Nat and I were in charge of taking videos of all the performances but halfway through, the battery went flat and so we lost the job. And so, our jobs became a wandering soul. We wander from place to place and self entertain ourselves by taking extremely RETARDED photos and playing everywhere. For example, going back to the room to play with the head of the BIG head crayon girl and taking retarded pictures again, me playing with the fishes and eating popcorn, candyfloss and muah chee. So fun!!!!!!

After that, Sock, Nat and I went to Suntec City because Nat wanted to buy someone’s album. I can’t remember who but someone’s album whom she gets to know in myspace. We had a hard time looking for the Gina’s. We were pretty shocked when we reached the place because that place sell Indian food and not album. We thought Nat had made a mistake but she did not. The Indian man took out the album which is buried under so many plastic bags. Haha.

Later on, we went to have our dinner at the food court and after that, we walked around Marina Square. Those shops that are having sales are like having wars. Everything is so not in place, with clothes all over on the floor and clothes all messed up. We walked around till 7 plus and then went home. Nice and happy day today!!

I shall not mention about a sad thing to spoil my HAPPY mood today. Dislike me for all you want, I don’t care! But, I will still treat you as my friend. =)

Today is an extremely tiring day! Why? We had our Geomatics lesson from 10 to 12. We learnt how to set up the Total Station today. It is a super chim procedure because there’s just so many things we have to do. 1) make sure the peg on the ground coincide with the dot seen from the lens.2) make sure the bubble is in the centre by adjusting the legs of the tripod( I hate x 1000 this step a lot. It is so hard to make the bubble into the centre. It jus move round and round the circumference and not INTO the centre.3) On the total station and check for your accuracy. Super irritating instrument but I am glad I can hold a $18k instrument. OMG. It’s so small but the price is so ……

After that, it was Structures lesson. Super boring!!! That lesson was from 1 to 5 and many ppl went off after getting their results. I was super surprised with my Structures result because I thought I would have got a C but it ended up with a happy results. =) Exams coming soon and I shall work hard!

Had a nice time web-camming with Nat today in class and I shall post it up when I get it from her. Haha, all the retarded photos..

Finally back to school after a 1 day rest. I am so happy that I am fine now. Today’s lesson was a super short one( 9 am to 11am only) Anyway, we got back our Chem paper’s today. I thought I would get a C but instead, I got a B+! I should be more than happy because after the test, I realized some answers were different from my classmates. I will want to work hard for it so that for the exams, I will be able to get an A. I believe it is possible.
I am currently summarizing the points for CRS now. A rather last minute work again because tomorrow is already the mock presentation. But I will have ample of time to do it because I have left with the citation and some points to be added in only.
I am still thinking if I should go for the LEO meeting tomorrow because of some reasons which I shall not say. However, I am very happy because I will be able to meet Sock for lunch tomorrow after the CRS mock presentation. Shall end here now, I am just crapping about my boring life today.
