It was a sad afternoon. The weather today was like the pain we felt in our hearts. More than half of 4E1 attended Eugin's wake today. Mdm Padma told us she could not skeep ytd because she kept thinking of the times how Eugene Sng and clique will tease him and he still take it so easily and hang arnd with them.
A few days ago, he just took the SAT exam because he wanted to increase his chance of entering SMU Law. He was one of those guys that i know whom have a plan for the future, unlike many of us. He hoped to enter into Law and take the extra mile to sit for the exams. The results will be out on 10th Feb but he's no longer around to see how well he will score.
Many of us did not expect this to happen as it came just too sudden. Why did this happen? Just too 2 weeks back, he posted an entry called " Life" and i thought it was so meaningful. Articles about his unfortunate accident was on Yahoo News Page, Straits Time and Chinese papers. I am still unable to accept it.
Eugin, wherever you are now, i know you will always be happy. Sorry that i am unable to send u off your last journey tmr. Just want to let you know, we are proud to have you as part of 4E1. We will always rmb the cheerful and bubbly you.

I got a shock when i received PK's sms to attend Eugin's wake. My first rxn was " WTF, are u kidding?" Soon after, i went to Facebook and check on his profile. It was a shocking truth. My hands and legs went cold because i was totally stunned.
Eugin was a very cheerful guy who never fails to bring joy to everyone.
He was always willing to help me to edit my Lit. essay because his English was very good.
He was one of those guys whom i know who have super nice handwriting.
He had won many debating awards back in sec sch.
He was very cute then because of his size. I always love to poke his fats.
He was the one that helped me with this blog layout about 3 years ago.
Friend, i am just so upset over your demise. Hope that you will be able to lead a better life in wherever you are now.

A 1.5 hr talk with the lecturer from NTU, who happens to be Derek's classmate somehow changed my mindset about Engineering. He shared with us the core modules for the 3 years of studies, discouraging us to stay in the hostel, some job aspects and comparing the pros and cons of NTU and NUS. However, after listening to all that, I know that Engg is not a field that i will enjoy working. Therefore, i decided to sign up for a degree course at NIE instead. I will most probably teach Chinese and Mathematics.
I change my mind as fast as the wind blows. LOL. But i believe that it what i realy like more instead of a career in the Engg field.
I should not change my mind anymore.

I feel like I’ve so many things to say but I don’t know if I should say it openly or keep it within me. Nowadays I realize I don’t speak up that much, I don’t tell people what’s wrong what’s right or even when I’m happy or sad. I keep everything to myself because life seems to be simpler this way. And, happier. At least for now.
In the end, as expected, my weekends were not so productive. Nvm, enjoyed myself more important. Hahaha.
Got 2 more bottles of super disgusting med to drink for my sensitive nose.
Its because of my weak muscles in my nose that cause the senstive problems. They are weak so they cannot do their job well to prevent dust and etc from entering my nose.
Dad's friend gave us this obiang box but with cute-designs chocolate inside.
Alright, back to do my work!

I am gng to sleep at 11pm today. Been waking up at 6 or 7 plus this week so I am very tired. The 9 of us went to look for the CSW teacher regarding the cover letter and resume. I did the final draft a few hours ago and am gng to let her check before submission next tues. I am super scared of the "interview" because it's 35%. Goshhhhh. Anyway, it's one of the earliest time (3:15pm) i reached home today since Year 3 Sem 2.
Cant really think well now because i am super tired. Been having blocked nose very frequently in these 2 months so i will be heading to see TCM tmr. It's really quite irritating because i cant breathe well and had to breathe by the mouth. Besides that, i will never fail to sneeze 7-8 times every morning when i wake up. I know i am very random.
Many are gng for the NTU talk tmr but the stubborn me refused to go because i only like NUS. It's very bad because what if i cant get into NUS? Alamak. 1 more week till Uni application.
Meanwhile, i shall just work hard to maintain my GPA. I am just saying w/o any action. Hahaha. I will try to study the I&C test soon since i am done with most of the reports. Right now, I am left with Envt Micro expt 3 conclusion and compiling MEMSP expt 1 report. But i feel like doing neither. As for grp work wise, we still have Envt Micro report/ppt. It's only 30% done. Best!
It's 11 alrd, sleeping time!
Friday. The best day of the week because it means the long awaited weekends here. I must make sure i make full use of my weekend to do whatever assignments that are not completed. I will try to finish all by this week so that i can focus on the I&C test revision next week.
Getting so sick of notes/assignments/tests. There's still a torturous 3.5 years more to go. If i dont get into NUS, i will be very sad because i dont know why but i just dislike NTU. 2 more weeks till Uni application. Let's pray hard that i can get into NUS with my current GPA.
Staying back after school tmr again to meet the CSW teacher and also for EMS report/ppt. I had lost count of the number of wednesdays and fridays we stayed back for assignments. I hate school but it's just 3 more weeks of proper schooling!

Attended the Job skill interview talk today and i said " They are all machine-operated" and earned myself a bear ( did not take it). I am not interested in soft toys because they are useless stuffs. Haha. Last time, someone always say i am hard to please because i dont like to receive flowers/necklaces/soft toys on V'day and my birthday. I am just not those girly girls.
Anyway, I enjoyed working with you guys for the MEMSP prac this time round. Sometimes, i hate myself for being a "perfectionist" so sorry for the unreasonable me during the expt 3. I swear i almost went crazy during that period of time. But thank you guys for the answers sent to me this time round. I appreciate the effort you all had made. ^^
Current task: Editing the cover letter and resume. I had given myself a super wonderful title for my OITP. Hahaha.

Saturday
A few of us attended the BCA scholarship/career fair talk. Somehow, i feel stressed and confused because i did not know that we have to study in uni for 3.5 years instead of the 3 years that i thought. I am very scared that when i go to Uni, i will not be able to do well and obtain even a 2nd lower class honours. But i will still stick to my idea of Environmental Engg for now.

Stayed back in school today to do MEMSP calculations with JJNS. We managed to do 2.5 out of the 5 qns which was considered not bad. After that, we wanted to do EMS but we kind of lose focus because we were stuck and rather tired after doing the calculations. We must focus on next monday for EMS because the following week is presentation alrd!
I hate it when focus is lost in class/projects because of ....

Anyway, after pestering Mrs Soo so long for the CCA points for the competition, 7 points is finally awarded to us. My "so long" refers to 2 years~
HAPPY BIRTHDAY QIAO YU! It's definitely been fun and wonderful knowing you for the past 7 years. I miss the time schooling, dancing and gossiping with you. Those memories we had together in sec school life was definitely great and i just want to let you know, I love you! Hahaha.

At 1pm, i went to school to get the results for the envt micro expt. The results were rather weird because after washing hands and drying it with tissue, the microorganisms present were more than before washing hands. So the conclusion is, dont need to wash hands anymore! Haha.
After that, during waterman course, almost the entire class was not listening at the 2nd session. The calculations were super confusing till we gave up and Vivian, Zhi Jen and I decided to talk among ourselves. We can only hope that calculations are not tested for the next test.

It's the basketball competition for DEWT today. During the finals, HR's team played against the lecturers team and they won! It was very interesting to see how each team play one another! Well done DEWT year 3s! I will upload those photos tmr because i am very tired now.
In the morning, i was very sad because my rather new thermos bottle cracked after my classmate accidentally hit it against a chair and it landed on the floor really hard because the water inside was full. When i first saw the bottle, i liked it alot but i did not buy because it was $45. I thought it was too expensive for a water bottle. However, when i went out with my mom one day, she agreed to buy it for me since i like it so much. Now, i used it for only less than 2 weeks and it had spoilt. Super sad. The most expensive bottle i ever owned but it had such a short life span. ='( Haiz. I am so sad until i cant control my tears. Stupid tears.
Nvm. But the bottle of green tea and the bball game after school made me happy again.

CSW tel role play went on pretty well today. I am satisfied with the results but the teacher said i was too tense. Finally, it's over!
During the afternoon, we had a site visit to Yakult Factory. Initially, it was pretty boring but when the next speaker came, he made us all laugh like mad. He's super funny.
I am too lazy to start on QS tutorial. I shall do that in class tmr. Starting on the 2 Envt Micro reports now.

I&C test had been postponed till 31st Jan. I shall wait for the teacher to upload sample paper and sample qns before revising it. Anyway, the teacher was super lenient because he only deducted 1 mark from my whole chunk of "bullshit". I shall make the quiet room in SP library my study venue for exams next time. I am able to concentrate better over there than at home.
Today is probably one of the times that i spoke so little. Just dont feel like talking so much for now. The 6 of us had a rather long chat with Mr Foo regarding the diff courses in NTU/NUS. I should still stick to my Envt Engg in NUS because I doubt i can survive in Civil/Chemical Engg. It's gng to be super demoralising when i hit the bottom list. If only some rich man's son fall down from the sky, i will definitely marry him so i can just sit at home and kiao ka. I just hate to study but bo bian. 3 years just quickly passsssssssssssssssssss so i can stop studying!
There's CSW tel role play tmr. Kind of worried about it because i do not have much practice. Just say as much as i can within the 10 minutes tmr. There's also Yakult site visit as well. I rmb quite clearly that i had been there when i was super young but cant rmb if it was Yakult Factory because it was at least more than 10 years ago. At that time, i was still busy collecting stickers.
Sis is coming back tmr! It's good to be away from this stressful life in Sg once in while and enjoy your life in somewhere relaxing. I love and am missing the beaches there.

Today was a too-lazy-to-do-work day so i practically just enjoy my day by going out, slacking and using lappie. I love such sundays!
However, I did try to attempt those MEMSP assignment qns but decided to give up because i cant even solve any single qns after staring at them for 15 minutes. I should do it with the rest next week.
It's time to revise the CSW tel role play now. I shall pester Mr Foo to help me with those testimonials tmr after printing out my results and CCA records.

It's saturday! I love it because i do not have to go to school and can wake up late.
I got free lunchie at din tai fung today.
XLBs are just not what i like so i ate only 1 while J got to enjoy 7 and forced to swallow 2 down. My bad :x But i do love the noodles and prawn pancake.
I felt so good after pouring whatever had been kept in my heart to him. Am glad that you are able to tolerate my nonsense and my straightforwardness. I agreed with him that i must have been too vexed till the extent that i got so irritated when the calls from Kat were rejected for 3 times due to bad reception. Sorry kat*

Friends are really hard to find or get along with even though we are in the same c. At times, i just find you so fake, really fake. I swear. Everyone has their own problems. Some show it by not talking/laughing while some pretend to be alright by continuing to laugh/talk. If you know me well, i am the latter. Why does such problems not exist back then but now? It's time for me to question myself about ___.

School had started for a week. 5 more weeks left before i can officially say bye to Poly. But before that, i got lots of things that had to be done. I managed to seek Mr Foo's help and he's willing to write all the testimonials for me. Now the headache part is the essay which i think i have to seek Ms Yoke's help.
Gotten back 5 papers so far and i am satisfied with all of them. And the happiest thing of this week is that I&C paper had been postponed so this means i can focus on my essay and the reports. However, i really dont understand why cant it be done alone? Another thing i am unhappy about is, when u stand there, u get full marks. But when u do sth, it turned out to be otherwise. I shall tell myself to be a flower vase next time. Dont be such an itchy hand anymore. Meanwhile, i shld stop complaining and continue with the remaining report. Wonder what wld i be receiving. Another volcano eruption period? I pray not. Fortunately, the last report i can do without them otherwise i will really opt out of my choice.
This is life. Accept it and do your best out of it.
Sis had reached Vietnam by this time i guess. I cant wait for her to come back.

I've got no mood/motivation to start on I&C revision. Shall do that either tmr or on thurs.
Currently getting some inspiration to write an essay which i am always lousy in. Flipping though the CCA records, the best award i won was " 1st placing at American Mathematics Competition" in Sec 2. Soon, i got to beg my fav teacher to write a testimonial for me on the Danang "Overseas Community Serivce".
Looks like i roughly know what i want to do for Uni. I hope. Even though the other side of my mind is telling me "How good if I can don't go Uni."

Gosh, school's starting tmr! Why does the holiday always pass so fast? This holiday had been great because of :
1) Spending more time with family, be it at home or outside
2) Completing those piling-up assignments.
3) Meeting up with my lovely friends, Kat and QY.
Awwwww. When the school starts, i can foresee myself doing these:
1) EMS CW2
2) Envt Micro Expt 3 and CW2
3) MEMSP Expt 1 and 2, reports 1 and 2
4) QS calculations
5) CWS tel role play, resume and introductory letter
6) I&C test which is coming up reaaaaal soon.
Anyway, since this is the very very very last term, i shall give in all my best and put in my best effort to maintain my GPA. There's a DEWT dinner tmr from 5-7pm. It's probably one of the last gathering we cld ever have in Poly.

HAPPY 2011 TO EVERYONE!
2010 was a fantastic year and i hope 2011 will be better!
Some flashbacks of 2010:
January:
- 100 plus days since Ah Gong passed away. Up till now, i can still hardly
believe this fact
- Darius' stayover at our house when his parents were away in Europe for 2 weeks
February:
- Dad's birthday
- My birthday, Valentine's day and CNY that fall on the same day. Pretty cool
- Maternal side gathering cum dinner at No Signboard Restaurant. I hope there will
be another gathering this year because that's the ONLY time of the year that we
see each other

- Sis' birthday
- OITP to Danang for 19 days. I have no regrets gng there at all because it's really
fun hanging out with the 9 of them. I love the beach there! Not only that, i had
my first "ribbony-enemy" in Poly, cried the first time in Poly because i got
scared by a stupid dog (that's really dumb) and having a super good time enjoying
hotpot. I really love that place. And know what? Sis will be heading to Danang, Ho
Chi Minh with her friends next week
