HAPPY BIRTHDAY VIVIAN!

Ytd, we helped Vivian to celebrate her Bday. First, it is after the Geomatics Lesson and then at Bugis Sakae. Sadness. As expected, we have to redo our Geomatics Practical again because the misclose is horrendous :x

After Water supply, we wanted to go to Moberly to play Guitar Hero but all the 3 drum sets were spoilt and the mike was also not working. So, we changed to Super Mario Game which was super boring! Finally, changed to the Tennis and Boxjavascript:void(0)ing game which was so much more fun. Jun Lin's actions was as if he was really playing Tennis. Haha.

At 2, we left for Bugis to have Sakae. We all were so hungry that we started to eat even before the Bdae Girl, WH, Sandra and ZJ reached. However, the surprise failed but it's ok because i supposed Vivian had fun as well.

The 6 of us ( YH, Jo, Sandy, CS, JL and I ) shared the same table and we ate 60 to 80 plus plates of things. And after that, I was super full! Like full to the brim and Jo and I keep laughing because we cant believe we eat so much.

How time flies. It'd been 28 days since he left us. We still miss him alot. Sometimes, when i think of him, i will be very sad and will begin to ..... Been 21 days since i last saw him. Ah gong, I hope i can go and offer u some joss sticks this weekend. Haiz. Emo stuffs aside!

Today in the morning, i drank the Choco Soya Milk again. It's nice! Had RWP then Workplace Safety and finally Pumping Systems Practicial. Time pass rather fast because we had 2 breaks today. By rite, we are supposed to have Workplace tutorial but Teo not free so we had our self-declared break. And "watermelon + starfruit" juice combo is really ewww! Never ever try that but someone likes it leh. Haha. I am looking forward to your sushi though.

Gng to play Guitar Hero again tmr after school since it ends at 12. It's really addictive though we are lousy beginners at it. Geomatics Practical tmr. Pray that we do not have to redo. Most of the time, we have to redo Geomatics Practical and tmr's practical is really a long one so i pray that we dont have to redo.

I miss my necklace. It broke 26 days ago but i cant fix it back. It looks plain normal but it's given to me by an auntie who got it from a shi fu. Its somehow my "lucky" necklace so i really like it alot. Meanwhile, i shall bring my "pi qiu" along with me wherever i go. Sadness.....

Just came back from school. Today we only have one lesson - Water Supply. Han released us early at 10:30 instead of 1pm. ( You're cool!) So, the few of us went to Moberly to play Guitar Hero! It's so fun! We played for 1 hr and we made so much noise inside. I am so lousy at the guitar and drum. Haha. And we might go back there again to play on friday.

Looking forward to friday because our class will be going to Sakae Sushi for the buffet! Woohoo...

Anyway, i dont know why but nowadays, i keep dreaming about joanne and my classmates. On monday, i dreamt that Joanne was super stress for her FYP and said about her regretting choosing their topic. Then on ytd, i dreamt about her again, but this time round with Junlin and a few others but i cant rmb who. I also cant rmb what is that dream about. So weird!

Haha, and i forget to add something. During the discussion with Chan Choi Ung, we were trying so hard not to laugh when she say "shudents". It reminded me of the times when the 4 of us joke about this and today, at each time when she say "shudents", i really want to LOL so much! It's so hard to control. How shld we prevent ourselves from laughing when she say this next time? We can foresee her saying many more times.

I tried the Chocolate Blended Soya Milk from Mr Bean and i think it's nice but has some peanut taste. Jo and Nat think so too. I will drink it again maybe on next ????? So, we went for our first lessons, Geomatics. Some chim things being taught and i still cant really "catch the balls" now. Shall practise it later. Super good news cos we got our first choice for FYP. "Managing pollution in the West Coast Region."

Soon, its 2 hr break time and we went to look for Chan Choi Ung. Somehow or rather, our task was quite different from what we think. But, i find our task rather interesting because we are supposed to trace the contaminants of the water found at a temple, Poh Ern Shih at the west coast region. The temple had only been rebuilt for 1 yr plus but the concrete pavement had alrd been corroded by the water running down from the roof top because the water is black in water. Wow, black water?!?! Then, we have to collect rain water at SP and the temple to see the comparision in the water quality, bla bla bla. I think it's quite fun and if possible, we will be meeting a scientist. Sounds quite cool... And next wed, we have to go down to the temple to collect some water samples.

Next lesson was Waste Management then Workplace Safety. After lesson, i went to Chinatown to buy some stuffs and headed home.

When school starts, it means our life gets more boring, tiring, stressful. I just finished the Waste Management tutorial 1 and i think it's really horrible. Imagine doing a 11 rows x 14 column table just for 1 pathetic qns and we have to do it 3 time since there's 3 parts to that. It somehow reminded me of Hydraulics where we had to do the 6 rows x 13 columns table, but waste management is far worse than this.

I am really glad that for most reports so far, we can do in a group cos it means less hair loss and less white hair. Phew! And on 7th Nov, we all have to go for some event at the Kallang River. Measure the pH, turbidity, bla bla bla of the water there. But, i wish i can take the boat. I guess it's more fun!

Finally dont have to eat " all veges" meal from tomorrow onwards . For 15 days at home, all i had for dinner at home was veges. All kinds of veges u can name ( Brocolli, carrots, lady's finger, celery, corn, cai xin and etc). Dad has to be " vegetarian" for 15 days and so at home, we also follow. Sometimes, i forgot and eat ham bread. Oops. Luckily, it's at home and not outside if not i guess i can really vomit from eating all veges. I really cant be a vegetarian because it feels weird and disgusting, eating veges for dinner everyday!

Off to bed now.

It really feel good having 3 days of short break from school. I dont know why but i dread school now, but from tomorrow onwards, i shall not slack anymore. I want to do well for this sem! The only sets of notes i had touched on this week, was Pumping Systems and when i try to read and copy notes from BB, i realised they were all so alien to me. Well, looks like i really have to pay attention to Dr Liu tmr.

I think all lecturers have the powerful abilities of bringing us to the lalaland during the lessons. Lessons that i listen to always makes me feel this way, except Mrs Liang's lesson. Because i dont listen to her as i will always be talking during her lesson. I guess less than half the class listen to her, anyway. But this sem, all the modules are kind of chim so we really have to listen.

Back to today's life.... I went out with my mum to PS again because i wanted to go to The Body Shop to get some shower foam. After that, i went to get my hair serum because it's been some time since i applied any and it's getting so dry!

Alrighty, OREO cheesecake is in the fridge now and it looks yummaye!! School's tomorrow, again! Haiz. Study hard, people!!!!!

Today is saturday so my whole family decided to go out for some shopping because sis's back from the hostel. So, we went to Taka, Bras Besah, Bugis, OG and finally Sim Lim Square. It's been some time since sis went for shopping so she can really spend money really well. At each place, we buy some stuffs and by 6 plus, we carried lots of plastic bags home. So not environmental-friendly.

Dad bought a nice pouch for me. ^^ I intended to use that as my handphone pouch at first but when i got home, i realised it's too big and decided that i shall use it for other purpose cos somehow, i dont bear to use it also. When we reached home, mum and i decided to head out again to Kallang Bahru to have our dinner - Thosai, Tissue Prata and Roti Prata. I love the tissue prata with Chocolate Sauce. So yummy!!

I love the time when i get to spend time with my family members. At times, i would be wishing that i have more siblings, maybe one more elder brother, younger brother and younger sister will be better! But, it's so impossible....

Gng out again tmr..... Woohooooooooo and i will be making OREO cheesecake!

Yeah. Just now went out for a short while to City Square again. OMG. My mum and i keep gng there cos it's so near to our house. Did not get any watch but mum bought me a pair of pink checkered flats from Crocs. I am always a little anti-crocs because the age grp wearing Crocs are mostly either young children or aunties. But that checkered flats is comfortable and fits my leg nicely so my mum decided to buy that for me.

Ahhh. I want to get a new watch soon. If not, i shall give up soon and buy a bag instead!

No-lesson day is definitely awesome! Went to PS with mum and aunt today to look for my watch, BUT they dont have FOSSIL one again. I guess i will end up getting either fcuk, esprit or nothing! After the failed attempt to get my watch, i went to buy some stuffs at DAISO. I bought one thingy that can help to keep foods to maintain its coldness or hotness. Next time, when i bring Oreo Cheesecake to sch, i dont have to be scared that it will melt. Hopefully, it does not so i shall make it on Sun. Woohoo. Nat, i am still waiting for ur sushi!

Last time, JNS were saying that we will make our own food and share on Thurs because the break is only at 2 and by 12, we were all very hungry alrd. We're really like pig, after getting influenced by Nat. She's really a "good" influence. LOL.

OMG. After 1 yr and 10 months, you are finaly freeeeeee. Free from physical activities, waking up early everyday, washing your own clothes, booking out every friday and booking in on every Sunday. I cant deny these 1 yr and 10 months was really a tough one for you. After all these, you will be finally be back to studies again. Hope that your mind is not rusty and study hard ok? So sorry because i cant attend your "graduation". All the best!

No lesson tmr!!!! I am so happy because i do not have to wake up early. Anyway, had only 2 lessons today, which is RWP and Workplace Safety. The RWP teacher was way better than that stupid Jenny Wee. But, Nat and i laughed at her over sth. Hahaha. We srsly could not stop laughing when we see "that". LOL.

Afte that, rushed to the library with Nat, Jo and Sandy because J and S want to photocopy some stuffs. Before that, went to buy some bread at the library and just as we were about to walk to the classroom ( we were 15 mins late. oops), we saw JN and XY and they told us tutorial cancelled. So, we went to FC1 to have our lunch. OMG. Less than 5 minutes ago, we ate the bread but after that, Jo and i still eat Curry Chicken Noodle. After that, i drank the Apple Lemon mixed with Original Yakult. Super nice!

Went for Workplace Safety tutorial and after 1 hr, went back home. I bought the Black Pepper Chicken Pie and wanted that to be my breakfast for tmr but ended up, i shared it with my mum when i reached home because it's really tempting when i see it lying on the table. OMG. I am srsly like a pig now. Someone pls save me!!!

Oh ya, FYP topic chosen. It will be either "Monitoring of pollution at West Coast region" or "reclamation of grey water." Hopefully, we can win the "snatching" and get the first topic. That makes our supervisor either Chan Choi Ung or Yoong Yuen Soo ( director of the civil engineering, WOW!) Off to slack now, BYE!!!!

Had only a short lesson today, Water Supply. It's boring, his lessons are worst than Tracy's. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz After that, went to have lunch in school and went home. I love home, i think is the best place ever. Die! Still in the holiday mood. How???

Awwwww. I still neve get my watch. Ytd, after sch, went with Sandy and Nat to hunt for the watch i wanted but both MS and Suntec dont have it. When we finally found the Fossil Shop, the person say no discount. I did not buy cos it's $31 more than the other shops i see ( but they only have display set). Sighhhh.

Sch was _________. I am stil in the holiday mood and the notes are all so thick, esp Workplace Safety notes. 100 plus pages. And for this module, we will be issued a cert and be able to work as " Work Safety Supervisor" next time. LOL. I did not really focus during lessons because it's just the first week. I promise that next week onwards, i will pay more attention and study when i get home. I want to rest for 1 more week.

Ok, FYP is gng to start real soooooon and this week end, we will be choosing our topics. Hooray!!!

In the end, we did not go to IKEA but went to Bugis instead because we intended to get ingredients for Okonomiyaki tmr from Cold Storage. I think only Cold Storage have those Jap stuffs. Bought the Okonomi Sauce, Katsuobushi and Mayonnaise there. After that, went to shop around and bought some random stuffs. I am still hoping to buy my bag and watch but still cant find any that i really like.

Gng to City Square again tmr, to buy a watch. Really hope i can find one.

Went out with mum today but did not manage to get my watch. Shall go out and see again on Sunday. Yeah. Tmr i will be gng to IKEA with my mum and aunt. Gng to eat the delicious chicken wings, currypuffs, hot dog buns and their set meals there tmr. Sounds really like a pig :x

And my goal of losing weight this holiday failed because i had been eating alot these few days. First 4 weeks when i worked, i managed to control my diet and lose some weight but now, i gained it all back to my original weight. Shitoneh!

Left with another 3 2 days to enjoy and my mum is gng to make the Okonomiyaki on Sun. Woo. Bye!

3 more days of holidays left! Sigh.... I dont want sch to start so soon because when sch starts, we will be flooded with tons of work again. And next sem, we have FYP and RWP to tackle which is gng to be "exciting"!

Stayed at home today to enjoy my Home Inn game at Facebook. Finally at Level 17 now and getting abit bored of the game alrd. But i like such games because i get to buy nice furniture and decorate the way i like. So its really fun but i had been playing that for 4 days alrd and each day, i spent about 4 to 5 hrs playing it so it's not as fun anymore. WHat's more, I had alrd built the max 6 levels of room and no more furniture to buy. Hope that the Home Inn team will come up with more furniture.

Anyway, gng out with my mother tmr to get a watch. Hopefully, i can find one because my pink Levi's watch broke. I am so rough that the strap actually broke. zzzzzzzzz. I saw one from Fossil and AX but not sure if i shld really get one of those. Shall try and search for a new target tmr if not i shall just get one of that before sch starts.

Just came back not too long ago. Went out tgt with QY and Adela to have our dinner at Astons. Met up with QY at arnd 3 plus, intending to shop for Adela's gift. After a while, we went to City Hall and went to McCafe to chat for 45 minutes. We shared the Mocha Frappe and i think Far East McCafe makes better ones. After that, headed to Suntec and did a little shopping. Got bored because Suntec is really zzzzzz. So, we decided to go to the foodcourt and chat while waiting for Adela. We 2 can talk really alot because we chatted for almost 2hrs, i think. Finally, its 7pm!!!

Entered Astons because we are afraid that queue will get very long. I am glad we enter earlier because 5 mins later, the queue is really longgggg. Ordered the Double Up Chicken ( Hickory BBQ chicken + crispy fried chicken + french fries + mashed potato) and one crispy fried fish. Personally, as a food critic ( as said by Nat), i think the food is nice but rather salty. The BBQ sauce and french fries are like salty ttm. I think i will go back there again next time... Haha

After dinner, went to TCC to have some drinks. Ordered the Hazelnut Frappe and Lychee Jazz to share. Woooo. The frappe is super nice! It ought to be nice because it's $7.90. The Lychee Jazz taste a little too minty and so, it's like colgate. >< Arnd 9:30pm, left TCC and headed home.

Oh, and QY bought us those fake bread from Taiwan. Shall upload the pics tmr. As lazy as ever..

Rotted at home in the morning and after late lunch at home, went to City Square Mall with my mother. It's a newly opened shopping centre at Farrer Park and it's really big but kind of like nth to shop. Walked arnd and bought many stuffs to eat. First, eat the Chicken Mushroom Pie, then some kaya bread, then soya bean milk. Really like a pig :x

After that, went for grocery shopping at NTUC and went home. Hmm, the shopping centre is so big but hasnt found any shop that caught my attention. Shall go there another day because we havent finish looking at all the shops yet.

Gosh.. Sch's starting in about 1 week time and i think this holiday really pass so fasttttt. When sch starts, it's gng to be study, assignments, FYP again. Die, stupid Handojol is teaching us agn but let's just hope he's still as lenient as ever when he marks Water Supply papers. Like this, i guess we wont hate him as much. Alright, off to rot more now. Bye!!!

Today went to pray for ahgong as it's "tou qi" -- 7th day of his death. =( Shifu came and have a chanting session for ah gong. After that, all of us had some chatting session tgt. Only about 12/29 ppl came for the "tou qi" because my other relatives either had school or alrd go back to work. This sunday,we will have a mini gathering at ahma's hse again.

Hope that the maid will cook for ahma to eat frequently and dont be so greedy and money-minded... We were all quite shocked to hear that ahgong is malnution-ed and had a severe lack of calcium. I wonder the meat, veges, fishes that gugu buy for them landed in whose stomach?? The maid is really bad at times because she went to drink my ahma's chicken essence, we saw her giving sweet potato porridge to ahma without any ingredients at all and she herself was enjoying all the potato and veges, not returning ahma's change after she buy sth and etc. Grrrrrr. So angry lah. So these few days will be gng down to see ahma and on sunday, will be bringing her out for a walk so that she will not " hu si luan xiang" and think so much about ah gong.

Oh, and i forget to add that ah gong's wake was rather "grand" in the sense that there were about 27 wreaths and close to 20 blankets there. I think he must be very happy because his last 5 days stay there was so beautifully decorated. However, i am sad because ah gong cant witness all our marriages and us giving birth.

Yesterday

Went to ahgong's wake at arnd 11 plus and had some chatting session with my cousins, uncles, aunties and etc. After that, a few of us went to "open a fruit juice stall" because my father brought the fruit mixer there and we went to make all those fruits into fruit juice. There's really a whole mountain of fruits. After that, went to watch some videos from my cousin's labtop and the title was "怪談". It's about some really extraordinary things that happen. Like a monk whose hair and nails continue to grow after death, a monk whose body do not decompose although no preservatives was injected to his body after his death, some past-life and this life real story and many many more. They're quite interesting.

At night, had some prayers and we went to burn those stuffs. After that, stay there till about 12am plus and went home.

Today

Finally send ahgong off for his last journey today. I think ahgong must be happy because 23 loved ones and many others sent him off today. Everyone was very sad when the shi fu told us to have a last look at our ah gong. On the bus, everyone was quiet because we were all very sad. When we reached Mandai Crematorial and Columbarial, we went to the viewing room and the shi fu chanted some prayers and ah gong was pushed to another room where his body was "huo hua". Haiz, very sad. We all cried quite badly. After that, boarded the bus and went back to ahgong's house for some prayers. Went down for our vegetarian lunch and went back to ahgong's house agn. Talk,laugh,play. I think this is what my ahgong want to see. At arnd 1 plus, went to Mandai again to collect ah gong's ashes. Each of us placed a piece of his ash into the urn and it was good that we saw some pink ashes. After that, went to put the urn into his "new house". Had some prayers by the shifu and offered ah gong some food and told him to rest well in his "new house". After that, went to pray to my 1st uncle and his wife and also pray to Singapore's 4th president, Wee Kim Wee. Waited for the joss sticks to finish burning and we all went to have our early dinner tgt. Went to this very ulu place near Mandai to have the Ampang Yong Tau Fu and Curry Fish Head. The Yong Tau Fu are made of gold, i guess because 4 plates of that shared among the 15 of us cost $72 plus. So ex!!! But, i think it is all worth it because my paternal side hardly ever have our meal outside as one big family.

Even though the demise of my ahgong brought to us lots of tears, i am glad that it also create a greater bond among the 8 families. That's one of my ahgong's wish as well; to see all our families having a closer r/s with one another and i am glad we did!! We promise that we will. ^^

Oh, and i realised that my cousin is the student of my jiu ma. Haha. He was so shocked to see his teacher at ah gong's wake ytd. I was shocked as well.

Tmr will be gng to pray for ahgong as it will be his 7th day leaving this world. Ah gong, rest well in another world.

3rd day alrd and we all still miss him alot. Had a look at him frequently and he's really sleeping peacefully. ^^ Fold the "yuan bao" and "jing and yin tiao" when i was there today with everyone. After that, went to burn those incense paper with my cousins, 2nd cousin-in-law, nieces and nephews. Those young ones were more of there to play. Before the prayers, when we were burning those incense papers, the wind became super strong and by the time it is prayers, the wind stopped. Very weird rite? My uncle said it might be because my ah gong is happy to see the place so crowded and all his closed ones are by his side. I think so too. Haha.

My ahma is still super sad over the demise of my ahgong and she wld break into loud cry occasionally when she insisted on walking to my ah gong photo and she wld talk to him there. Well, all of us are super sad as well. But, i believe my ah gong dont want us to cry so much but be happy. So, everytime i have a look at my ah gong at the coffin, i wont cry but smile to him. I believe that's what he want to see.

3 more days and i will surely miss him alot.

Back.. For another short post before i go to sleep. I heard from my 3rd cousin in law that Da Nang, the place i will be gng for attachment is a prone to flood place. Ahhhh. I am having a little regret of choosing Vietnam now. And she told me the place in Vietnam that is having flood is also Da Nang now. Omg. I cant swim leh, how??? But she told me that the food is super cheap there, like arnd 5000 to 6000 Dong for a bowl of noodles. And thats like only 50 cent or less than that because the exchange rate is super highhhhh. $1 to 12000 Dong. Note, it's $1. Gosh. Hehe. I can be a vietnamese millionaire.

My heart aches alot alot alot. =(((((((((((( I guess this few days will be the saddest moment of my life ever. When ah gong's body was being carried out and placed into the coffin, litres of tears rolled down our cheeks. Super sad. My ahma also cried very badly because she had been with him for at least half a century. Dont worry, ah gong, we will take good care of ahma and all your grandsons will study very hard and will take good care of our parents now and in the future. Went out with QY to visit our Tricia... So disappointed when we reach there because she's not arnd. Heard from her colleague that she's coming only at 2:30pm. zzzzz. So, we went to have lunch at Yoshinoya and after lunch, it's only 1:15pm. Walked arnd but GWC is so boringgggg. Found a bench near Home-Fix and we rotted there for about 1 hr plus and Tricia finally reached at 3. Wanted to talk to her but it's so hard because she's alrd late and of course, we cant expect her to stay there and talk to us. After some time, we left and went to hunt for heels at Bugis for our work on this Sun. We both found a pair and after that, dined at food court and headed home.

After i got home, i went with my dad to visit my ah gong at TTSH because he got admitted there ytd. I am glad i did visit him because just 5 mins ago, my dad called and said he'd passed away. Cries. When i visited him, he no longer can talk and he's just sleeping soundly. Only when the maid called him, then he opened his eyes a little. When the rest of us call him, he continued to sleep. He'd become a little thinner and his face looked a little yellow and his right arm was a little swollen. He's on NaCl drip and the doctor said he'd some lung infection and his kidneys ain't functioning and he's having a slight fever. When i left, i touched his cold toes and chanted some prayers, hoping that he'd recovered. Never had i expect that's be the last time i touched him alive. Sad. But, we're glad that he'd lived till an old ripe age of 95 years old. Ah gong, you'll be dearly missed by us. ='( Now, i will cherish my ahma more now.

And, i cant work with QY on this sun alrd. Sorry QY. Haiz. Feeling very sad now over his death. Bye!

Actually, i got nothing to blog about today because i stayed at home the whole day. Being a cheapo, i watched dramas and movies online and this is how i spend my day! I think i am being such a weirdo now because i feel tired in the day and feel energtic at night. I think my body need a few more days to adjust because for the past few days, i had been reaching home at 7am plus and sleeping until 5pm. Awaiting for the kachingssss to be rolling into our acc. But, we have to wait till Nov. -.- I must be getting old because now i have a slight backache from bending down too much. It'd had been worst had i not be so smart to sit down occasionally during work. Haha.

Meeting QY tmr and we will be gng to GWC to find our ex colleague, Tricia, at Home-Fix. Been a superrrr long time since we last saw her. I heard from her Alex is resigning, but i have doubts in that because in Mar 2008, he'd been saying he wants to resign. -.-
