Went for the World Water Monitoring Day at Kallang River. Met the class at 9:45 @ Lavender and took a 10 min walk to the river. Had a short and boring briefing and my group, JNS and GL. We took the boat! Initially, we wanted to cycle but due to some reasons, we changed to take the boat. I guess we did not regret this decision cos it was really fun fun fun!

At the beginning, the engine had some problems and it really freaked me out because i could not swim and the boat was swaying up and down. So scary! Meanwhile, some water splashed right onto our legs because some roundish thingy was placed out of the boat instead of inside. After the problem got fixed, we had a good time travelling from Kallang River all the way till i dno where. Its a 40 min ride to our 1st location for water testing. Due to not listening to what Miss Elizabeth says in class, we all had a hard time figuring out how to use those "idiot-proof test kit". I even used the wrong tube to find the Dissolved Oxygen Content. We figured out our own ways to use the test kit with super vague memory of what Miss Elizabeth said in class. Off to the next location.

When we reached the second location, i lost hold of the small tube and roll roll roll, it rolled into the hole at the side of the boat and pop, it landed into the river. Shitoneh! We attempted to find that small tube, thinking that it wld float but it did not!

This was the time when WWMD spells FUN! We got to experience ____ the boat. ( Fill in ur own blanks). I was so scared and excited at the same time because we are all licence-less. Wa. Fun TTM. Too bad i cant swim if not taking up a licence for driving that boat is not a bad idea.

This whole thing took arnd 1h45min and i believed we all enjoyed ourselves! I will post the pics up soon....

Stayed at home online-ing in the morning because NS and me were all discussing about our FYP. Edit, edit, edit and finally DONE. Submitted and phew! Lets see wad Claire says about our intro on Thurs. Hoepfully, we dont have to change lots of stuffs. After that, did an overall edit of the Water Supply report, Geomatics Questionaires and then some crapping online sessions with NS. We discussed that we will go baking in Nat's hse and bake lots of cakes tgt. Sounds so fun!

I just finish baking a brownie. It does not look appetising at all but it taste not too bad, i think. Bye!
